  • Sarajevo - 22 July 2013 - According to Ismet,  most of Roma family can't afford to pay a rent, they squat these buildings who are apparently abandoned.

  • Sarajevo - 22 July 2013 - Ismet family stay in a house in very poor condition. They don't have access to either electricity or running water. This means if they want to wash, they must find a public fountain or a small pond.

  • Sarajevo - 23 July 2013 - Gorica barely enter this room anymore as on of her son, Gerim, died at the age of two during the winter 2012. Temperature went down to -20 celsius that night and she found his little body inanimated on the morning.

  • Sarajevo - 21 October 2013 - I saw this very young kid with  only one shoe, on a cold morning in Sarajevo railway station. I ask others Rom people around but they did not know where the mother is. Finally one of the Roma family take care of the kid.
